The Way To Secure Your Wordpress Blog From Hackers

You may well have heard all the buzz online about the attacks on WordPress security. Unfortunately this is no joke, and it needs to be taken very seriously, or all you've built could be hijacked or worse, lost to you.

If you do not have good protection on your website, files can easily get lost. Some of those files might be stored in your computer and easily replaceable, but what about the rest of them? Where are you going to get them out of again, if you lose the first time to them? Especially how to fix hacked wordpress is very important. Often, long-term sites have created a number of documents and have a good deal of data. Recreating all that would be a nightmare, and not something any business owner wants to do.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that your hosting company will have your back as far as WordPress copies go. Not always. It has been my experience that the company may or may not be doing backups, while they say that they do. Why take that kind of chance?

Is to delete the default administrator account. This is important because if you do not do it, malicious user already know a user name which they could attempt to crack.

As I (our fictitious Joe the Hacker) understand, people have far too many usernames and passwords to remember. You have got Twitter, Facebook, your online banking, LinkedIn, two site logins, FTP, Homepage web hosting, etc. accounts which all come with logins and passwords you need resource to remember.

When your website is new, you do think about needing security but you do need to protect yourself and your investment. Having a site go down and not having the ability to restore it can mean a major loss of customers who can't find you and probably won't remember to look for your website later. Do not let this happen to you. Back up your site after you get it started, as the site is operational, and schedule frequent backups for as long. That way, you'll have WordPress security and peace of mind.
